He will be accompaning me on my trip for a project that I’m planning on doing for the CW site.  I never really got into doodling on things until I started drawing small things at work.  It’s something that I enjoy since it provides me with a different type of mental stimulation and a better sense of accomplishment over the number crunching I do at work.  In less than 24 hours I will be off this rock and in Socal grinding some Olive Garden.  I can’t wait.

Decided to have a follow-up photoshoot with one of the sickest boxes in the state.  Seeing the progression of this car to what it is now (and still going) has inspired me to retain some interest in my car.  I was on a one way road out of the scene until realizing that there is still some hope in the few that still care.

is something a dog can sniff out right through your false appearance.  It’s something I’ve learned when I was a child while on Big Island with my parents.  One of the worst situations as a kid is being stuck in an enclosed area with a huge dog that wants to play chase…  From then I’ve learned just stand there and look right back and you’ll gain their respect.  It’s a characteristic I admire in dogs along with loyalty.

yeah I said it, like Chazz Michael Michaels..  Driving down my hill, I was wondering what the hell was underneath the car in front of me.  That is definitely one off, so sick.  It’s the subtle things that mean everything to me. 

  The week is winding down and I’ve yet to become aware of how fun this vacation is going to be.  It’s the same feeling as my SF trip last year, I don’t loosen up until I’m off the plane and in realization that everything ahead of me will be new and memorable experiences that I’ll look back on everytime I’m stuck on this damn rock.  4 more days and it will all be real.

  Not quite, but some of the parts on Tina’s box came from mine.  It’s just so difficult to find a heavily modified xB to roll with (especially one that is done up the right way) and do a shoot.  The wheels and window visors are actually off of my box, and both cars have identical optional headlights from Japan, air suspension setups, and appeal.  I wasn’t all pleased with this shoot due to time constraint and lack of location choices.

  It’s truly amazing to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth and have no ideal place to do an automotive photoshoot.  With so many shoots I’ve done in the past, every location turns sour if it’s used too often; ”been there, done that..”  It’s hard to be original when thinking this way.

keeps growing, 23 and counting..  The set is nearly complete, just a few more which I don’t intend on buying anytime soon.  The countdown to vacay is down to 6, it’s such a great feeling to know that I have the option to do things like this rather than feel the downfall of this recession like many other unfortunate people.  It’s all about job security nowadays…

of the new layout is finally here..  It might not be as big as the past DOHCcorp/DOHCresearch releases, but for me to know it’s there is all that matters.  It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this type of accomplishment; the use of my real skills and working on something that I enjoy doing…

was in the house today at Nordstrom.  Stood in line for over 4 hours to get this doodled.  I must admit, I give Simone Legno a ton of credit for how layed back and accomodating he is.  He was literally taking his time, giving each person exactly what they wanted, and took pictures with everyone with a camera.  I was expecting a half-ass small sketch, but I’m satisfied with what I got (the back is inked also and he doodled/signed the name card to go with it).  Such a long day, to end with a backache >> Ethnies definitely don’t support.

are taking over.  Whoever had the idea to come up with this is a genious.  I would’ve never thought they would become so popular.

  Things are turning for the better, the foreign-cold is gone; found out that profit-sharing at the corp is suprisingly being issued in lieu of the current state of the economy; countdown to socal/vegas is down to 17; and I have finally come to like my new layout for CW.com.

  Webpage design is something that I find to become so technical when it comes to making things clean and effective.  It’s so amusing when I find myself editing html for hours in notepad just to get it to the way I want it.  It seems I’m never satisfied, till now possibly…  it will never end.

of being sick..  It’s difficult to hate feeling sick when I know I’ve said in the past that I miss getting sick; it’s the feeling after you get over a cold that I miss… something that I should feel soon hopefully. 

  Word of advice, if you come back from a foreign country and you know you’re sick, don’t go to work and cause an epidemic, stay home.

  More Buff stuff arrived to add to my never ending new obsession, it gave me something to do over this long crappy weekend.
