is always amazing in terms of everything that goes on in one block.  There’s never a dull moment on the strip.  This was our spectacular view from the Augustus Tower at Caesars Palace (same tower that The Hangover was shot in).  Couldn’t ask for a better view of the Bellagio water show.  I’ll miss being on vacation once more, I hate how it’s soo short lived everytime.  Coming back to reality always sucks, I can’t say how dissapointed I could be coming back to Hawaii compared to people who would supposively “kill to be in paradise.”  If those people ever do take the plunge to fullfill their dreams, they are in for a big suprise…

was the file name of this picture I had saved on my hard drive from Google..  was trying to show one of my friends where to go at the wharf in SF.  Finally had some time to edit and upload the San Francisco shots onto the CW.com site.  Go check it out.

at the shots from the trip makes me want to just escape from the dungeon I’m trapped in every weekday.  $300 roundtrip Hawaiian Air tickets tempt me..

never gets old.  No matter how many times I go, I’ll always enjoy the experience.  The perfect cold mornings, great eats, endless variety of local shops and mainstream stores, and everything to do in such a small place.  Someday I hope to live there or somewhere in Cali, maybe once this economy gets out of its slump and jobs open up.

are what keeps me sane through my stressfull job.  Looking back at some of the memories of SF gives me motivation to keep on truckin’ until my next vacation that’s less than a month away.  Round 2 for SF to finish up what we didn’t do and to polish up on the best things from the last visit there.  I can’t wait…

taken a toll on me this week.  So much to do, so little time.  Being that this is byfar one of the busier weeks with last minute loans needing to be underwritten and shotgun training seminars that they expect us to teach with only 2 day’s notice, it sucks to know that I will be losing one of my coworkers who I rely on alot for help and who I have developed a great friendship with.  This Friday will probably be the end of it, given that I never keep in touch with any of the past people I’ve worked with.  It’s just sad to know even though something can be done to prevent this, it will most likely happen that way.
Above is from the Corey Halford Gallery in Culver City, CA.  They were featuring a well-known urban artist, Luke Cheuh.  Although most of his art is simple, his signature bear doing wicked things, they sell for a couple a piece.  It takes some getting used to.

always brings back not just a memory, but an emotion which reflects the point in time it was snapped.  It’s something I like to dwell upon when I want to lose myself in the present, whether it’s just from everyday stress or to perceive something that I can’t obtain here.  This is the same for music; old songs that make you remember the past and a part of your life that you probably can never return to.  This shot gives me a little Sunday inspiration to tackle the long week ahead..

:: The Bellagio Lobby | Las Vegas, Nevada

really became surreal after going to all the Cali theme parks.  It’s just intriguing how things change and you find yourself being amazed by different aspects of things compared to when you were a child.  I guess “growing up” is inevitable, but it just makes you cherish your childhood memories even more.  Being blind to the cold hard world is something I wish I could go back to sometimes, ignorance is without a doubt pure-bliss.

:: Universal Studios | Hollywood, CA

has always been one of my favorite artists.  His color schemes and birds are just so intriguing everytime I see his pieces.  This piece is from The DIY Pushers show at Munky King LA on Melrose, it sold before I could get my hands on it.  I expect big things to happen for Peeks and Woes this year.

was probably one of the main places I dumped the most cash at, and suprisingly, not on clothes..  I learned that LA shops aren’t like shops at home or SF..  They tend to sell their own brands of clothes with two racks full of the same designs in different sizes and colors, all in an empty room.  It made me miss Haight in SF for shops like TRUE..
